Scholastic Reading Counts! - We are excited to
announce the MAMA Association has purchased the Scholastic Reading
Counts program for our school. Students in grades K-12th may participate
in this reading program. Students will be able to read books that
are listed on the Scholastic Reading list, then take a comprehension
quiz on the school computers. Each teacher will use the program in
different ways. Some of the books are available in our school libraries
but others may be purchased through out the year or at any bookstore.

The Marvell Academy MAMAs will be hosting its first 5K run/walk at
Marvell Academy on May 5, 2012. Please click here
to see/print the registration form for more details.
Marvell Academy now has tumblers for sale. The tumblers have our MA
Eagle on one side with Marvell Academy on the other. All come with lids.
They come in two different sizes 16 oz $20.00 and 24 oz $25.00. Come by
the high school office if you would like to see or purchase one.
Orders are now being taken for the 2012 yearbooks. The price is $60.00.You may pick up a order form in the high
school office. There will be no online orders this year.
Marvell Academy Men's Night Out will be held on February 21st at
5:00p.m. You may see one of the Marvell Academy board members to
purchase a ticket.
Would you like to be the owner of a brand new 2012 Camaro? Well now is
your chance. The Marvell Academy Board of Directors is selling tickets
and you could be one out of 500 to own it. The drawing will be held on
February 21st, at the Men's Night Out and you do not have to be present
to win. Contact a board member immediately to buy your ticket. Remember,
only 500 tickets will be sold and as of January 10th there were less
than 100 remaining. So get your ticket today, you could be the lucky one

The District 1-A Tournament will be held this week at
Delta Academy. Senior high girls and boys will play against Desoto on
Feb. 9th. The girls will play at 4:00p.m. and the boys at 5:15p.m.
